Many businesses offer EAP's for their employees. This is a formalized program to assist employees with personal problems that could negatively impact job performance. The service offers a limited amount of sessions (3-6) to assess and resolve the problem. These sessions are free to you. After the EAP sessions are completed, you can continue the therapy, but you must use insurance and are responsible for paying any required deductibles and copays. Ask your employer if they offer this service.
Fourty-five minute psychotherapy session: $130.00
Extended 60+ minute session: $150.00
Diagnostic session: $170.00
Longer sessions can be arranged. Please discuss this option with me directly.
Some people don't want a record of their mental health treatment in their insurance information, so they pay out-of-pocket. That is when the above rates apply. Payment is due at time of service.
Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance company or employee benefit plan. Payment for co-pays and deductibles are due at the time of service.
Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
• Do I have behavioral health insurance benefits?
• What is my deductible and has it been met?
• How many sessions per year does my behavioral health insurance cover?
• What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
• What will my insurance pay for a counselor who is out-of-network?
• Is approval required from my primary care physician?
Payment for services is due at the time services are rendered unless other arrangements are made. Payments can be made with cash, check or credit card.
Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to the appointment or rescheduled to another day that week, otherwise a payment of $25.00 will be charged, except in the case of illness in yourself or a loved one.
If you don't have insurance and have a limited budget, there are some options. We have a local mental health conglomerate called Aspire Health Partners at https://aspirehealthpartners.com who offer reduced rates and the button below will take you to another source.
